What is Readymix Concrete?

Readymix Concrete is concrete that is made according to specs provided by a engineer. I’ts a mixture of water, sand stone and cement. Most of the industrial batchplants batch by weight. All materials is weighed and loaded via a conveyor belt or crew conveyor into the readymix truck where it is mixed. The batcher will now do a inspection to see that the slump is correct and the concrete is thoroughly mixed.

Once the batcher is satisfied that the slump is correct a delivery note can be released containing all the information to keep a proper papertrail of that specific batch. The weight of all materials is recorded on computer, this ensures that the client can always be guaranteed that the correct mix design was used.
